What is Rights & Rate?
A desktop workspace for UGC creators: price a brief, prepare a client-ready quote, save your work and track agreed usage rights. The online calculator is a small preview of the quote builder.
What is included in the purchase?
The quote builder, PDF export, saved quotes, Rights Vault, custom pricing settings and creator toolkit. The launch price is $29 USD, with a regular price of $39 USD. It is a one-time purchase with a lifetime license for 2 active computers and a 14-day refund.
Can I use my own rates and percentages?
Yes. Start with Beginner, Intermediate or Pro, or build a custom configuration. You can adjust rates, usage percentages and minimum fees. The presets are editable starting points, not a promise of market rates.
What does the Rights Vault do?
It keeps the license terms and dates you record in one place, including upcoming and expired usage windows. It helps you track agreements; it does not monitor where a brand publishes your content.
Does it work offline? Where is my work saved?
Your quotes, clients and rights records stay on your computer. No account, no cloud sync, no analytics. The only connection is the one-time license activation.
Will it run on my computer?
Available for macOS on Apple silicon (M1 or later) and Windows 10/11 PCs (64-bit). The desktop app does not run on iPhone or iPad; this website and its demo do.
How will I receive and activate the app?
After purchase you receive a license key by email. Enter it the first time you open the app. The app connects to the internet once to verify the key, then works fully offline.
Can I export the online demo or transfer it to the app?
No. The demo lets you explore an example and its itemized price. PDF export and saved quotes are part of the desktop app. Your example is not transferred automatically: recreate it in the app.
Are the quote amounts tax-inclusive?
Prices are shown in USD. Applicable sales tax or VAT, if any, is calculated at checkout.
How many computers can I use?
Each license can be active on 2 computers (for example your Mac and your PC). You can move it to a new computer by deactivating it from Settings.
What is the refund policy?
Not happy? Ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. The license key is deactivated when the refund is issued.

The app gives pricing guidance based on rules you control. It is not legal, tax or financial advice.
